OUR HISTORY

After six years of professionally snow skiing around the World, Randy Wieman started "Hot Shots Photography and Video" in the ski resort of Mt Buller, VIC in 1986. The next winter the business was expanded to Thredbo, NSW where Hot Shots continues to operate.

Every winter, teams of photographers photograph all the skiers and visitors on the mountain and in the Village.

In 2005, Hot Shots set up in Niseko, Japan, “the powder skiing capitol of the World”. That first year, it snowed every day for 3 months. The photos were truly amazing with most customers buried in deep, light powder.

In 2009, Hot Shots set up shop in Alpen Ridge, 30 meters from the base of the Family Chair offering coffee and food as well as the best powder images and personal DVD movies.
